3 HEALTHY The Alliance’s Language Assistance Services To help members communicate better with their doctors and the Alliance, we offer interpreting services by phone and in person, as well as translation of written member information, at no cost. Members can ask for: ● ● A trained American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter ● ● A trained language interpreter ● ● Alliance-written information in braille, large print or audio format ● ● Alliance-written information in a language they can understand If you need to reach the Alliance’s Language Assistance Services or have questions, please call the Alliance Health Education Line at (800) 700-3874, ext. 5580 .
