Finding a doctor who speaks your language It is important that you and your doctor can understand each other. The Alliance has doctors in its network who speak a language other than English. You can find these doctors in your Provider Directory or by calling Member Services. Your doctor can also call a special telephone line to get an interpreter who speaks your language, or they can ask for an in-person interpreter to be at your appointment. You do not have to use family or friends to interpret for you. For help finding a doctor who speaks your language, you can call Member Services at 800-700-3874, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. If you need language assistance, we have a special telephone line to get an interpreter who speaks your language at no cost to you.
